Khloé Kardashian honored her late father on the anniversary of his death, and you’re going to need tissues for this
Losing a parent is one of the most difficult things a person can go through. It certainly doesn’t get easier, but memories can be so cathartic in dealing with that kind of pain. Khloé Kardashian lost her father, Robert Kardashian, when she was only 19 years old. She’s spoken up many times about how difficult it was.
On September 30, the 14th anniversary of her father’s death, Khloé posted a series of Instagram photos of him.
The pictures show Robert Kardashian Sr. happily posing with Khloé and her siblings. She affectionately calls him “the greatest of the great.” Aww.
Amidst endless Kardashian pregnancy news and intriguing pregnancy theories, it’s nice to see everyone focusing on family.
There’s more love where that came from. Kim Kardashian honored Robert Kardashian by retweeting several sweet fan-made GIFs of her and her dad together.

Kim also recently posted a photo of her dad when he was younger, posing with his pet Doberman.
On her show Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian, Khloé talked about how hard it was to lose her father as a teenager. In the past, she’s also attributed grief to her struggles with binge-drinking and binge-eating.
"My dad died in 2003. I was 19. And when it set in, I was like, you spiral. For me, my spiral was food," she said, according to PEOPLE. "I gained so much weight because I was so internally just suppressing so many things that it was like, eating me alive, and I was literally eating everything."
We’re happy that Khloé has since built a healthier relationship with food. We know Robert Kardashian would be proud of her and all of his daughters.
