We’re tearing up at this emotional message Khloé Kardashian just penned for her brother Rob

There is no family more public than the Kardashians, which means that, yes, every win for the clan is celebrated far and wide (Kylie’s Lip Kit sold out in HOW many seconds?) but it also means that fissures are placed squarely under a microscope. It’s not easy to be under that much scrutiny, particularly if you are Rob Kardashian, the sibling who seems to least enjoy the limelight.

Rob’s made a point of staying out of the public eye as of late, taking it as far as not appearing in the last few Christmas cards, and not appearing in this year’s family Thanksgiving Instagram

“He lives with Khloé. ,” Kris explained on SiriusXM’s Conversations with Maria Menounos  in early December. “So he was around, and then went over to a buddy’s house. He’s doing all right. You know, he’s doing his best. He’s not into being on camera as much as the rest of us. But he’s working on himself. He’s going to be okay.”

It doesn’t sound like Rob is in the best place right now. Real talk, it’s never GREAT when your mom tells people that you’re “working on yourself” and that you’re “going to be okay.”

We don’t know what’s going on with Rob right now, but we do know that Rob’s roommate/sister/awesome friend Khloé  took to Instagram today to show her support.

The caption of the above Insta, a throwback of the two sibs, reads “If only you could see yourself through my eyes! I’ll forever be obsessed with you! My one and only! #MyAce.”

Khloé brought out the #TBT a little early, but it sounds like the situation warranted the expedited affection. With the world focused on Rob’s absence from the spotlight, it seems like Khloé did what she could to let her little bro lay low and engaging directly with the media in his place. Taking a page from Don Draper’s “If you don’t like what’s being said, change the conversation” book, Khloé did just that, making the conversation not about what’s going on with Rob behind closed doors, but how much she loves him and believes in him. Nice big sister move, Khlo, well-played, lady.
