Khloe Kardashian says she’s the happiest she’s been in a while because she’s in ~love~
Khloe and Tristan sitting in a tree…interesting how the image that nursery rhyme conjurs is so linked with health and happiness. Tree, life, love. Quite apropos, given how Khloe Kardashian says she’s crazy happy with her beau Tristan Thompson.
“At this moment, a few days into 2017, I feel incredibly clear and probably the happiest I’ve been in years,” Kardashian wrote to her fans on her website.
“When you’re in love you definitely feel happy and healthy too,” she continued. “At this moment, a few days into 2017, I feel incredibly clear and probably the happiest I’ve been in years.”
Given the very rocky recent years she’s experienced, we can imagine how elated she must now feel. In 2015, after filing for divorce from her husband Lamar Odom, he then overdosed at a Nevada brothel, winding up on life support in a Las Vegas hospital (he’s since fully recovered). As they were still legally married at the time, she helped oversee his medical arrangements.
“It’s such a great feeling that I have my happy back!” her website post exclaimed.
The social media maven began dating Thompson, a Cleveland Cavalier, in late 2016.
She’s regularly shared moments of the relationship over Snapchat and Instagram, but mused about privacy on her web post.
“Recently, I’ve pulled away a little. So much tough s*** has gone down in my family over the past year that I’ve removed myself from social media a bit more and focused on what’s important in my life.”
“I like that my relationship is very normal and doesn’t need to be so publicised all the time,” she wrote on her paid subscribers-only blog.
“People aren’t wrong for putting all of their personal business out there but I’ve learned from my mistakes and don’t need to do that anymore.”
“I think being able to share my life in a way, while still keeping so many great memories for myself, is a sign of maturity and evolution.”
In a recent post on her app, Khloe shared her sister Kim’s similar shift in focus and priorities.
