KFC U.K. is fighting with McDonald’s using Donald Trump’s Twitter tactics, so yeah, 2018 is wild already
We don’t know how or why this is happening, but fast food Twitter accounts are really funny, and we’re here for it. Today in “funny tweets from a fast food restaurant,” KFC is feuding with Ronald McDonald like Donald Trump is with Kim Jong-un. To be more specific, the KFC U.K. & Ireland account is tweeting in the style of Trump, because as long as Trump is tweeting, people will be parodying him.
On January 2nd, 2018, Trump tweeted some more of his delirious, detrimental babble, and this time, it was about his “nuclear button.”
“North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the ‘Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.’ Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!” the leader of the free world wrote on Twitter.
Then the KFC U.K. Twitter account got in on the “nuclear button” rhetoric and tweeted this:
"McDonald’s leader Ronald just stated he has a 'burger on his desk at all times'. Will someone from his big shoed, red nosed regime inform him that I too have a burger on my desk, but mine is a box meal which is bigger and more powerful than his, and mine has gravy! #nuclearbutton."

Trump’s tweet about turning down the Time Person of the Year award in November also incited a series of parodies.

.@nytimes just called to say I was PROBABLY going to be named comedienne of the year but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway! @andy_murray

The folks at @NASA called and said I was PROBABLY going to be the next resident of the international space station, but I would have to commit to supersonic flight training and wear a big round helmet. I said probably was no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

We shouldn’t be laughing at a president threatening nuclear war on Twitter, but it’s 2018 in America and this is just our reality now. Good one, KFC.
