New Keurig pods can relieve your cold and flu symptoms (and they don’t taste like medicine!)
Cough syrup is disgusting. There’s really no way around it, right? The texture, the taste, the everything – it’s all just plain unpleasant. But unfortunately, when you have a cold, there may not be another option.
But what if there was? What if you could, like, brew a cup of tea and sit back and relax while your cold gets its butt kicked?
Well, you guys. It’s possible! CVS just launched cold and flu pods, which you can brew in your very own Keurig.
Each Keurig pod makes a single-serving of tea with acetaminophen (a fever-reducer), dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant), and phenylephrine (a nasal decongestant). The ingredients are exactly what you’d find in any traditional cold and flu medications, but the taste is way better.
The non-drowsy, daytime pods are “berry infused with menthol and green tea flavors,” according to CVS.
If you’re looking for a nighttime cold and flu remedy that’ll also help you sleep, these products have you covered. The nighttime pods come in “honey lemon infused chamomile and white tea flavors.” (Which sounds as relaxing as can be!)
Obviously cold and flu teas aren’t a new thing, but they’re new to Keurig! You can find them at CVS for $9 a box.
It doesn’t hurt to stock up, but hopefully you’ll bypass the colds and flu this season.
Stay healthy, friends!
