Kendrick Lamar’s most popular songs — you’ll be surprised how many you know

Yesterday, April 16th, Kendrick Lamar made history when he became the first rapper to win a Pulitzer Prize for Music. But aside from his recent Pulitzer, Lamar has won several Grammy Awards and had many hit songs. Let’s take a look at Kendrick Lamar’s most popular songs.

Lamar’s most recent album, DAMN., was released in April 2017 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. All of its tracks have been featured in the top 100. DAMN. also became the rapper’s third album to sell more than a million copies, after 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly and 2012’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.

K-Dot has also appeared on hits by other artists. He’s featured in Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” and stars in the music video as “Welvin Da Great.” And the rapper also has his own verse in the Maroon 5 break-up tune “Don’t Wanna Know.” Lamar was also responsible for curating Black Panther: The Album, which sold 154,000 copies in its first week post-release, positioning it at the top of the Billboard 200 chart.

But when it comes to singles, Lamar has had many well-known releases. Here are some of his most popular songs.

“HUMBLE.”

Lamar’s biggest hit to date is “HUMBLE.,” the lead single from DAMN. The track reached number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 in April 2017, and it stayed there for five weeks before being dethroned.
