Kendall Jenner’s strange new couch is exactly what our apartment’s been missing this whole time

Described as a “large woven nest” and “an invitation to explore different positions,” Kendall Jenner’s new couch is definitely not something we’d put at the top of our celebrity home decor lists (because who doesn’t keep one of those lists, amirite?).

The model purchased a home from Emily Blunt and John Krasinski in June, and recently shared a bit of her interior design journey on her app.

According to Teen Vogue, Kendall wrote in a post on her app that she only has one room full decorated so far, saying, “All of the furniture is Restoration Hardware including their big comfy Cloud couch, cozy rug and marble coffee table. There’s also a huge TV — it’s definitely the chill room where everyone hangs out.”

But apparently Kendall came in way under budget on her furniture allowance, so she “got super excited and bought another amazing couch. The ‘Boa’ by Edra couch is all woven and a really groovy navy with purple shimmer. It works perfectly in the space!”

Marvel with us at this other-worldly creation, won’t you…

It’s definitely fair to describe it as a “nest,” that’s for sure.

It certainly looks cozy!

So cozy, in fact, that we wouldn’t mind picking one up for ourselves!

Here’s how the sofa maker, Edra, describes this unusual creation:

"With no frame, it consists of 120 meters of tube filled with flexible and breathable polyurethane with a touch of goose feather. It is covered with velvet, which gives it a peculiar brightness. Each sofa requires four tubes of 30 meters each, filled and covered by hand. Four people work simultaneously and in synchrony for more than a week. Two full days are dedicated to the final weaving."

Given that it takes two full days just to put the couch together, it’s no surprise that it’s priced at nearly $39,000.

Uh, yeah. Just a tiny bit out of our price range, but we’ll keep dreaming!
