ICYMI, between posing for red carpet photos and attending parties in Cannes, Kendall Jenner found time to pose in a bathtub, too. In fact, Kendall Jenner’s bathtub pic seems to pay supermodel homage to these iconic ’90s supermodels, reported Teen Vogue. And, tbh, we’d have to agree.
Just like Kendall keeps her supermodel besties close, supermodels of the ‘90s were close, too. So close that they posed in a famous bathtub photo, thanks to photographer Roxanne Lowit.
The supermodels Lowit photographed in a tub together were Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington. The bathtub photo shoot took place in 1990 after the Versace Couture after-party at the Ritz Hotel in Paris, according to People.
Kendall’s photo looks like an after-party in and of itself and was taken in Cannes. Kendall and her supermodel friends — aka Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls, and Hailey Baldwin — posed together in a tub, too, resembling Lowit’s photo.
Though the group is a bit less smiley than Lowit’s photo of the ‘90s supermodels, it still gets the point across, and we love the homage to the original picture.
