Kendall Jenner explains why she’s a guy’s girl and we totally relate

Kendall Jenner has lots of very famous female besties – from Cara Delevingne to Gigi Hadid (and of course, Kendall’s many sisters!) there’s no shortage of lovely ladies in her squad. But the supermodel admits she’s actually much more of a guy’s girl, and we can totally relate to her reason why.

In a post on her website and app, Kendall explains why she prefers hanging with guys over girls and it actually makes perfect sense. Kendall says she definitely considers herself a guy’s girl and says it all stems from the fact that she’s always been surrounded by women in her life.

Kendall tells People, “Nine times out of ten, I’d rather hang out with a group of guys instead of girls. I definitely consider myself a guy’s girl. Growing up, I was always a tomboy, but more recently I’ve found myself really gravitating toward hanging with only guys.”

"I think because I have so many women in my family and not many men—especially after my dad transitioned—I'm drawn to male energy when choosing friends. Half the time, I'm the only girl in the room! Like the other night, seven or eight of my guy friends were at my house and I was just napping on the couch. I'm just super comfortable around them."

Although Kendall loves her dude friends, she says she has nothing but love for her female friends, too. She says,

"Don't get me wrong, though — I LOVE my girlfriends. You need those one or two ladies in your life. Being around them is like a therapy session and you need those girls to vent! But, being around my guys is fun and easy."

It seems like Kendall knows that good friends are hard to find, no matter the gender, and we’re all for her spending time around whoever makes her feel happy and comfortable. You go, girl.
