Kendall Jenner painted her living room a color that is supposed to calm you and help with food cravings, hmmm…

Hold up, what? Reality star Kendall Jenner actually painted her room pink to help with hunger cravings…yes, it’s true.

The 21-year-old model recently shared a picture of her pink Christmas, with a shot of her tree and a bright pink wall, but there’s more to it than we thought. That cute holiday photo meant more than just, “I LOVE PINK!” It actually meant she was about eating less.

We know you’re probably confused, but we’ll explain. Jenner opened up on her blog about her living room wall color choice and it has to do with food and science.

“I decided to paint it [my living room wall] pink because while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the room, I went to dinner with friends and they had just gone to the ‘Human Condition’ exhibition at a former hospital in LA,” Jenner wrote on her blog.

"They were telling me there's a pink room at the exhibit that had an explanation of the color choice: Baker-Miller Pink is the only color scientifically proven to calm you AND suppress your appetite," she explained.

After hearing the story that this specific pink can suppress your appetite and therefore help keep your eating habits in check, the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star had to have it.

"I was like, 'I NEED this color in my house!' I then found someone to paint the room and now I'm loving it!," Jenner revealed.

We know this sounds a little wild, but it’s true.

During the ’80s, the U.S. Naval Office of Research published a study that was conducted at John Hopkins University in regards to the specific pink hue and people’s health, weight and stress.

According to the study, more than one-third of the subjects (there were 1,700 people tested) said that Baker-Miller pink reduced their appetite. While they don’t know exactly what it is about this color or if it truly does suppress one’s appetite we are totally intrigued.

Okay, now we need to find this pink color and paint it all over our house!

Plus, who doesn’t love the idea of a pink wall?
