We’re totally swooning over Kendall Jenner’s new eyeshadow palette
While we’ve been freaking out trying to get our hands on Kylie Jenner’s lip kit, her sister Kendall has been low-key plotting a place in our makeup bags as well. Kylie may be having tons of fun decorating our lips and nails, but Kendall is taking on our eyes. That’s right: Kendall is coming out with her own eye shadow palette, and Refinery29 got her to dish on it.
The 20-year-old model joined Estée Lauder in November to help the brand launch their new millennial-focused line, the Estée Edit. The first products will debut this March exclusively at Sephora, including Jenner’s custom eye shadow palette.
The palette contains 14 smoky and neutral shades, as well as a purple for a pop of color and because it’s Kendall’s favorite color. You can expect a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. It also contains two “transformer” shades featuring black light technology—these shadows will glow in the dark! How awesome is that?
She revealed the palette in an exclusive video with Refinery29, following up with some of her favorite beauty know-how in an interview. She said she typically doesn’t gravitate toward pastel shades, and is always blowing through tans and light browns, shades she definitely included in the palette.
“I’m very simple, so like a lot of the colors are pretty simple,” Jenner says in the video. “My name is even on it—I signed it to make it official and so you guys know it’s mine and this isn’t a joke. This is legit, beauty is an attitude and this palette has tons of attitude!”
The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder Eyeshadow Palette will be available in Sephora stores on March 15 and will cost $48. Jenner is also scheduled to make a personal appearance at a Manhattan-area Sephora on March 22 to promote the palette.
