Kelsea Ballerini announces engagement on Instagram…but that ring, though!
It’s the day after Christmas, which means…engagement announcements galore! There’s just something about the holiday season that makes people want to pop the question. Country star Kelsea Ballerini announced her engagement yesterday on Instagram to fellow country singer, Morgan Evans, whom she met in March.
The “Love Me Like You Mean It” singer showed off her gorgeous ring in the engagement post, with an equally sweet caption. She wrote, “This morning, 9 months and 13 days later, he got down on one knee in the kitchen while I was burning pancakes and asked me to marry him. Loving him has been the greatest gift of my life. And now I get to do it for life. #HECALLEDDIBS”

This morning, Ballerini kept us freaking the freak out when she posted a giphy of herself and her decked out left hand, holding a mug that reads, “Does this ring make me look engaged?”

Ballerini also posted an up-close shot of her new bling on Twitter. It’s blinding, it’s beautiful, and because it was given to her by such an amazingly wonderful man, we’re quite positive that Ballerini is the “luckiest girl in the world.”

We’re in love with the love between Ballerini and Evans. Their chemistry at Australia’s Country Music Channel Awards was crazy; were we the only ones who thought Evans was going to kiss Ballerini during this banter or…?
