Kelly Clarkson sings Tinder profiles. Just watch.
There is literally nothing Kelly Clarkson can’t sing. Her own songs, cover songs, the phone book, you name it, and she’ll belt it out for you. Lucky for us, Jimmy Kimmel asked if Clarkson could sing some Tinder profiles, and she was up to the challenge. So she sang some Tinder profiles.
Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel explains that he’s “not sure how [Tinder] works,” but he does know “it’s romantic.” He also knows that each Tinder user has a little profile, and these profiles,”like some of the people, are unusual.” Well, there’s no time like the present to honor these unusual Tinder profiles, and there’s no better way to do it than through song. Besides, why not set the mood with a little mood music, right?
Clarkson sings the profiles aloud, giving a little spin to all of them. She turns them into pop songs and ballads, and gives one profile—which includes information about a hairless cat—the gospel treatment. If we came across a Tinder profile with a little song from Clarkson attached to it, we’d swipe right SO FAST.
