Kelly Clarkson’s daughter celebrated her third birthday with a proper princess party, and we’re actually kinda jealous

It’s not often that we say that we’re jealous of a three-year-old, but we’ve just seen the pictures of Kelly Clarkson’s daughter’s princess-themed third birthday party and, well, now we’re jealous of a three-year-old.

River Rose, the daughter of Clarkson and hubby Brandon Blackstock, turned three on Monday, and to celebrate, the family had a fairy tale princess party that looks so stunning.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen little River Rose dress up as a princess. Last year, the family went on a trip to the most magical place on earth, Disney World, with Clarkson sharing an adorable snap of her daughter dressed like Cinderella.

For her daughter’s third birthday, however, Kelly Clarkson took things to the next level.

In pictures from the day, it looks like River had a few costume changes. Not only that, but there were two (!) princess carriages and some rather delicious-looking cupcakes.

In social post, Clarkson wrote a sweet message to her daughter.

"Happy Bday 2 our smart, witty & beautiful girl, River Rose! She wished 4 "pink forever" on her birthday 😂 " she wrote.

The singer also gave a shout-out to photographer Weiss Eubanks, who captured the special day.

While River might have wished for “pink forever,” her birthday cake was actually a rather electric yellow color, although we have a sneaking suspicion that it was inspired by Belle’s iconic yellow dress from Beauty and the Beast.

Back in 2015, Kelly Clarkson opened up to People about the impact that having kids has had on her life.

“My whole life took a big 180,” she said at the time. “I never thought I was going to be a mom, so it’s very much changed my world in the most awesome way.” 

Clarkson, of course, also welcomed her second child with Brandon Blackstock, Remington Alexander, last year. Speaking about her growing family, the singer said she and her husband basically just spend their time looking after the children.

“We don’t generally do a lot, honestly, because we’re just so tired! [Brandon] manages Blake Shelton, he also manages me, we have four kids, there’s a whole career.” she told Elvis Duran on his morning show in December of last year. “I had kids older, so I had selfish times when I’d go out and have fun, so I don’t feel like I’ve missed anything. I feel like a lot of moms that started at like 21 having kids — no, no. I started at 30, so we’re good.”

Clearly, Kelly Clarkson and her family are having the best time, and we’ve loved seeing a little peek into little River’s pink party.
