Kelly Clarkson and her baby daughter give us the BEST #squadgoals

Last week, Kelly Clarkson revealed that her family will soon be growing. But — this week — she wants all her devoted followers to focus on how perfect her current squad is! (And yes, this is a two-person squad that we want to be a part of.)

On Sunday, the singer shared a behind-the-scenes photo with her daughter River Rose, who is the definition of adorable. “Pre-show warm up with River! Thank you Wheatland!! #PieceByPieceTour,” wrote the talented songstress. Aside from this excited caption, the accompanying black and white photo is truly worth a thousand words. In one candid shot, you can see the love, devotion, and inseparable bond that’s shared between the two Clarkson women.

Seeing Kelly bond with her daughter backstage makes us love her even more than we already do — I mean, how could we not? Kelly’s a phenomenal singer and performer, knows how do a killer cover, and she’s a GREAT mom. Best of all, Kelly’s little girl couldn’t look happier to be tagging along on mom’s current Piece by Piece tour. (And if she’s anything like her mom, she’s most likely spreading that happiness around backstage, especially with her infectious smile.) Based on her other Instagram snapshots, it seems that Clarkson all-around loves being a mom. “Being a mother is the greatest thing I’ll ever do,” she captioned her Mother’s Day pic. “My career inspires me but my family gives me this constant state of euphoria that is all consuming and ever growing and sometimes hard but completely worth it.” So. Sweet.
