Kel from ‘Kenan & Kel’ is coming back to Nickelodeon! Be still our ’90s hearts!

Get those liters of orange soda ready! Kel Mitchell from Kenan & Kel, All That, and Goodburger is making his return to Nickelodeon!

Since his Kenan & Kel exit in 2000, Kel has appeared on shows like City Guys, The Parkers, Half & Half, One on One, and Good Luck, Charlie, wrote and produced the movie Dance Fu, and most recently was on Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat and Wild Grinders. Oh, and he was also the victim of an Internet death hoax that circulated on Myspace back in 2006 (and we are so thankful Kel is alive and well!).

And according to Kel’s Twitter, the actor/comedian/writer/producer is back in our lives. In the best possible way. According to Uproxx, he’ll be recurring on Nick’s Game Shakers, a show about two 12 year old girls who start a gaming company and take on rap superstar, Double G, as their business partner. The show will premiere on Nickelodeon in September, and we seriously can’t wait.

It’s been a crazy-amazing year for ’90s nostalgia — 2015 has been the era of so many of our childhood icons returning to TV (The Boy Meets World reunions on Girl Meets World, Fuller House) and now Nickelodeon is joining the bunch. Our inner kid is totally geeking out!

Sadly, it doesn’t look like his former comedic partner Kenan will join him though. *Sad face*.

To jolt those memories, here’s one of Kel’s infamous scenes from Kenan & Kel. You can see Kenan trying not to break character! We’re glad to have you back, Kel.
