Keanu Reeves, true hero, helped coordinate a bus for his fellow passengers after an emergency landing

Over the weekend of March 23rd, a group of travelers had an experience they will likely never forget—and it involved international treasure Keanu Reeves. The actor was on a flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles when the airplane made an emergency landing  in Bakersfield, California (which is about a two hour drive from L.A.).

While getting stranded in a small regional airport with a group of strangers might be unideal for certain other celebrities, Reeves not only took it in stride, but he took charge. Instead of keeping his head down and arranging for a private car to take him home (because let’s be real, we know he has enough Matrix money to do that), the John Wick star sprung into action, working to coordinate transportation for himself and his fellow passengers for the final leg of their journey. false

And Reeves proved equally awesome on the bus ride itself. Instead of popping in ear phones, he provided an educational service to his new bus companions, dropping tidbits of Bakersfield knowledge. “The population is about 380,000, making it the ninth-most populous city in California and the 52nd most populous city in the nation.”

Reeves posed for photos with his fellow travelers and was apparently incredibly pleasant to everyone, even chatting about his upcoming films with flight attendants prior to the emergency landing.

Once in Burbank, the real-life superhero bid his fellow travelers adieu, ending the, er, excellent adventure with a stop at Carl’s Jr. This story is firm proof that not all heroes wear capes…some wear Arch trucker hats.
