Katy Perry just announced her new album, and she’s also heading out on a massive tour

Stop the press, take a deep breath, and maybe find somewhere to sit down, as Katy Perry just announced her new album AND her new tour.

While Perry might have just shared the totally NSFW and creepily entrancing video for “Bon Appétit,” which features Migos, that hasn’t stopped the singer from proceeding full steam ahead with the release of her new music. In fact, beady-eyed fans noticed yesterday that a billboard had appeared in Time Square with a picture of the singer’s eye. Then, Perry shared a small teaser of a track called “Witness” on Twitter, with today’s date (5/15).

Well, as a woman of her word, Katy Perry has just announced her new album, Witness, as well as a massive tour, and here are *all* the details.

First, the new album, which Perry says will come out on June 9th! According to a release on the singer’s website, the collection “reflects on the changes in [Perry’s] own life and in the world around her, delivering songs that both challenge and inspire.”

As we know from the album’s lead single, the Skip Marley-assisted “Chained To The Rhythm,” Ms. Perry has embarked on a journey of self-discovery, which has also sent her down a path of creating “purposeful pop.”

Along with the album announcement, Katy Perry will also embark on a massive tour. So far, only North American dates have been announced for the venture, which will kick off on September 7th at Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH.

What’s more, the singer is teaming up with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, with tickets for the shows being donated to club members and volunteers, and $1 per every ticket sold being donated to the organization. Fans also have the opportunity to earn free tickets to the shows by joining Global Citizen and taking action to support Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

“Katy Perry is one of the most powerful and famous entertainers in the world, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America is one of the most powerful youth development organizations in the country,” said Jim Clark, President and CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “We share a commitment to improving the lives of young people through education, empowerment, and demonstrating good citizenship, and are excited to provide her fans with the chance to connect with Clubs while giving them an opportunity to win a chance to see her in concert.”
