Katy Perry just made another drastic hair change, and we’re SO in love with it
It seems that the big blue wigs were truly just a teenage dream (sorry), as Katy Perry has made another DRASTIC hair change, and we’re 100% in love with it.
We’re pretty convinced that 2017 is going to be a HUGE year for Katy Perry. The singer is set to release her yet-to-be-titled fourth album, her first since 2013’s Prism, and shared the lead single from the collection, the politically charged “Chained To The Rhythm,” earlier this year. Alongside that, the singer has given a few statement performances of the track, including one at the Grammys and one at the BRIT Awards, in which a dancer dressed as a house accidentally fell of stage and became the new Left Shark.
The singer also shared her dystopian video for the track, which sees her visit a creepy theme park called Oblivia.

While Katy might be making changes in her musical direction, she’s also made some pretty big style changes, too. The singer went blonde earlier this year, before doing something drastic: cutting off all her hair!
On Instagram, Katy debuted a pixie cut, and we were totally feeling it.
Indeed, this wasn’t the first time the KP had debuted a pixie cut. Back in 2015, the singer wore a black crop, and she looked like an old school Hollywood glamazon.
Well, now Katy Perry has decided to take things even further and shave her hair!
Yesterday (April 10th), the singer shared videos on her Instagram story of her having her hair trimmed with clippers.

The singer finally debuted the new platinum buzzcut with a cheeky picture, writing:

We’re SO in love with Katy Perry’s new hair, aren’t you? It totally suits her and, like Kristen Stewart who also just shaved her hair, we think that Katy looks like a total badass!
It’s so great to see Katy experimenting with her hair, and hopefully some of her playfulness when it comes to her style will translate to her new music once it’s *finally* released! We can’t wait to hear it all, and see what other looks the singer throws our way.
