It was only a matter of time before we looked at the cosmos for inspiration, citing the unknown as the ultimate sartorial mood board. Even celebrities are inspired by everything interstellar! And who else but Katy Perry would wear googly eyes around her actual eyes, both confusing and inspiring us in the process. The singer has always been out there with her fashion choices, so we can’t say we’re surprised at her latest alien aesthetic.

Katy looks like a princess from outer space and honestly, maybe that’s her real deal? Either way, we’re digging this look, with small googly eyes stuck around the inner and outer corners of Katy’s eyes. And with her perfect cat eye, rosy eyelids, and bold brows, this is a look. Katy wore the eyes with her bleach blonde pixie a little messy and finished it off with a bold, pinkish red lip.

But in true Katy fashion, the eyes were just an accent in the whole look. Katy wore the most eccentric beaded body suit and we are living for it. The silver suit is futuristic and high fashion, and Katy looks like a goddess from the future, ascended from the heavens. She even has a matching sequin scarf, which is really the height of glamor. 

But really, what we can’t get over are those eyes.
