Katherine McNamara’s “Cars 3” jumpsuit was a subtle tribute to the checkered flag
When presented with a theme at an event, some people rise to the occasion. That was the case for Katherine McNamara at the Cars 3 premiere this weekend. The beautiful red-headed actress wore a jumpsuit that looked like a subtle tribute to the checkered flag.
Obviously, the 21-year-old didn’t go overboard and literally become a flag. No. She embraced the black and white theme. And she very subtly served us an amazing red carpet moment. Katherine basically showed us how you can receive a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration summa cum laude at age 17, AND be a style icon at the same time.

But as every glamour queen knowsg, it’s all about variety. That is why this checkered flag-inspired outfit is so awesome. It’s a great mix of fun and sophisticated.
Katherine also left her hair long and carefree.
Her long tresses were left in beachy waves to rest comfortably on her shoulders. And honestly, the color is to die for. Her makeup was minimal and stayed within the peachy family — allowing the jumpsuit to do all the talking.
