Katherine Heigl shared a family music session and it’s actually the sweetest thing ever
She’s expecting child #3 any day, and we have a feeling that her new little boy would love to join these types of festivities. Actress Katherine Heigl shared a video of her family playing piano together, and not only is it adorably sweet, but it’s pretty darn good. We guess that’s what happens when you’re married to a musician like Josh Kelley — simple piano tunes morph into magic.
Heigl, who filmed the video and posted it on Instagram, referred to the moment as a daddy/daughter work session. The pair have two daughters, Adalaide Marie Hope and Naleigh Mi-Eun.

Seriously — we have goosebumps listening to that. And it looks like Kelley is only using one hand to play, which is such a skill. We imagine that the Heigl/Kelley household is constantly filled with love and amazing tunes.
Heigl’s followers were truly impressed as well.
Heigl is due to have her third child this month. This will be the first biological baby for the pair. And based on what we can tell, Heigl is going to be a phenomenal mom to all three of her children.
Adopting was always part of Heigl’s gameplan, even before her and Kelley said “I do.”
"My sister Meg is Korean, and my parents adopted her three years before I was born. I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea," Heigl said to Parent & Child magazine back in 2012. "We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I just wanted to be a mom. So however we do that, it’s fine with me."
It’s so amazing that all of her dreams came true. We await the birth of the next Kelley, and hope that Heigl and her family continue making beautiful music together!
