Katharine McPhee Just Shared Her First Pregnant Selfie and It’s SO Glam
Her husband had the sweetest comment.
Baby blue is the move. Katharine McPhee just posted two mirror selfies, and the color of her outfit is fitting for her first baby bump photo since announcing her pregnancy in October. Posing in a baby blue pea coat, the American Idol alum shared a glimpse into her first pregnancy with husband David Foster—and it appears to be glam as hell.
Yesterday, McPhee posted two photos to Instagram in the quintessential pregnant pose: holding a hand under her growing belly. Not so typical? Her posh look. Despite being in quarantine and newly pregnant, the Waitress star appears to be getting all dolled up at home. She showed off loose curls, smoky eye makeup, and a bold lip. We have to wonder where Kat is headed in white sneakers and what appears to be a wool coat with nothing underneath, but we’re into it, nonetheless.
McPhee captioned the post with three blue emojis, which makes us wonder: Is she having a baby boy?
We can only speculate the meaning behind this post, but one thing’s certain: McPhee is thriving during her pregnancy. Her husband, Foster, whom she tied the knot with in 2019, agrees that his wife is killing the game, commenting, “My most AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL GLOWING wife.”
While this marks McPhee’s first pregnancy, Foster, who is 34 years her senior, has five daughters of his own: one with ex-wife, singer and writer B.J. Cook, three with ex-wife Rebecca Dyer, and one whom he placed up for adoption when he was 20 and reconnected with when she was 30.
We’re loving McPhee’s dedication to glitz and glam. If we were pregnant during quarantine, it’d be hard to get us to leave the couch, let alone put makeup on. But to each their own, and we have to admit: McPhee is slaying the baby bump selfies.
