Katharine McPhee shared the best throwback photo with a teen Meghan Markle
We’re officially crowning Katharine McPhee as the reigning duchess of throwback photos. The Smash actress graced the internet with a grandiose #TBT that features Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, as a teenager. In the photo, the two don matching red lips as they smile at the camera. She captioned the Instagram, “Meghan and I did musicals together as kids. She grew up to be the Duchess of Sussex and I grew up to star on the West End, so same life if you ask me.”

As we all know, Markle retired from acting following her royal nuptials to Prince Harry in May 2018. The two are expecting their first child together this spring. The duchess left her role as Rachel Zane in USA Network’s legal drama series Suits at the end of Season 7 last year.
Much appreciation to Katharine for this. Since our Meghan Markle sightings on the small and big screen are now slim to none, we’ll take all the throwback photos we can get.
