Why yes, that *is* Kate Nash playing Rhonda (and Britannica!) on “GLOW”
If you thought that Rhonda on Netflix’s GLOW looks and sounds familiar, but couldn’t quite put your finger on where you might know her from — well, prepare to have your mind blown. The character, whose wrestling alter-ego is the brilliant Britannica, is played by Kate Nash.
AS IN, BRITISH SONGSTRESS KATE NASH.
You know, the musical talent behind super awesome songs like “Foundations,” “Skeleton Song,” “Merry Happy,” “Mouthwash,” “Do-Wah-Doo,” and so many others.
Let’s take a trip back to 2007 to refresh your memory, because why not.

Now that you’re all caught up, isn’t that wild? Ten years after the release of her breakout hit, Nash is delighting the world with her mad acting (and wrestling) skills. She’s basically as unstoppable as the woman she plays onscreen — and her fellow wrestlers like Ruth (Alison Brie), Debbie (Betty Gilpin), Cherry (Sydelle Noel), Carmen (Britney Young), and so on.

The inner teen in us is F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G out. Because honestly, what an amazing revelation! And, such a welcome one.
Nash is such a wonderful, if surprising, addition to GLOW — and the internet totally agrees.
