Kate Middleton wore a short mod dress, and now we need one exactly like it

Kate Middleton is our forever style icon. The Duchess of Cambridge continued to inspire at a recent appearance at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, where she wore a tweed black and white Gucci dress with red trim. Middleton — who was celebrating the completion of the largest architectural development to the V&A in more than 100 years — paired the dress with simple black heels, a red clutch, and her signature half-up hairstyle.
During her visit to the museum, which is just a short trip from her Kensington Palace home, Kate also toured the V&A’s new entrance, The Sainsbury Gallery, and Blavatnik Hall, where she met those involved with the project.
Okay, one more.
But seriously, this may be the most flattering dress ever and WE. NEED. IT.
Kate’s fashion choices, which are often compared to that of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, and former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, definitely inspire our wardrobe choices. While we’re obsessed with her Gucci look, the fitted tweed dress is a bit out of our price range, ringing in at £1,790 (roughly $2,323). Instead, we found similar, more affordable options.
