Kate Middleton’s pregnancy athleisure look is a game, set, maternity fashion win
The term athleisure often conjures up images of yoga pants and a fitted hoodie. However, Kate Middleton perfectly combined the athletic and chic vibe like any duchess would. She traded in her a-line dresses, nude pumps, and perfectly coiffed tresses for a sporty look we can all get behind.
The mom-to-be has been laying low after suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness, but for her first solo outing since announcing her pregnancy, Kate made us all smile. We’re glad to see she’s doing better, but also can’t get enough of her sporty-meets-chic-meets-maternity style.
For a visit to the Lawn Tennis Association, Kate had us all wanting to emulate her style, whether we’re pregnant or not!
Athleisure fit for a queen:
Kate’s a huge tennis fan, so she kept her look functional and fashionable with a crisp white shirt, jacket, and $345 track pants from Monreal London. Seriously, these tuxedo pants are great in and out of the gym.
The Duchess kept her look simple with a loose ponytail and a poppy pin on her jacket, which symbolizes support for service members who’ve died in war.
For the day’s event, which included drill activities with the children in attendance, Kate wore Nike VaporMax sneakers, a fave among athletes and celebs.
Keeping score of her maternity style:
Apparently Kate is just like us because she loves wearing her favorite pieces again and again. And her track pants are clearly on that list, as she wore them last year in Scotland to another tennis event.
Running in style:
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
