Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Christmas card is here, and it’s perfection
Some people dream of a white Christmas. We dream of a royal Christmas. Thankfully, we just got that much closer to the holiday happenings of Kensington Palace. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Christmas card is here, and it’s too freaking cute for words.
The photo, taken by photographer Chris Jackson, captures William, Kate, and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, all in matching powder blue attire. People.com reports that Jackson most likely captured the photo during Prince George’s fourth birthday celebration this summer.
"Delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to use this family portrait I shot as their Christmas Card this year - Merry Christmas!" Jackson captioned his December 18th Instagram post of the royal family.
(If we were Jackson, “shooting the duke and duchess’s Christmas card photo” would be the only thing on our resumé for the rest of our lives.)
Here’s the glorious photo.
For their 2016 Christmas card, William and Kate decided to go with a candid shot from their trip to Canada. In the photo, George and Charlotte are in absolute awe of a balloon artist in action.
Prince Charles and wife Camilla also released their 2017 Christmas card today, December 18th.”Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year,” the card reads. They chose a photo of the two from Camilla’s 70th birthday party in July.
We’re hanging these cards on our fridge today, because what are royal Christmas cards for if not for pretending that we’re part of the family?
