Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle curtsied in unison during their first public outing together, and Merry Christmas!
We admit it…we’ve been desperate to see Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle out and about together, hopefully being besties for life. They’re basically the coolest set of future sister-in-laws we could imagine. And now we don’t have to imagine, because they’ve finally made the first of what promises to be many official appearances together.
Even more exciting, this marks Megan Markle’s first official occasion to curtsy in public, and we’d like to think Kate totally gave her pointers.
The siting occurred outside the church of St. Mary Magedelene where the royal family gathered for Christmas Day services.
(Important sidebar: Can we take a moment to appreciate how stressful the holidays must be if you’re marrying into the royal family? Like, holidays with your significant other’s family can be scary enough, but add in the fact that they’re literal royalty and you have to curtsy and probably keep your pinky up and remember that “pants” actually mean “underwear” in England? That’s a whole lot of pressure).

People were pretty excited to see these two high profile gals together. Especially because they bowed IN UNISON.
It’s like a dance number, only fancy AF.
The Queen also used her annual speech to welcome Meghan Markle into the family, which is pretty adorable.
In her Christmas broadcast, the Queen joked that she has "evolved somewhat" over the decades, with a nod to Meghan Markle and Harry's wedding in May and the Cambridges' third child due in April, looked forward to "welcoming new members into" the family next year #QueensSpeech

All in all, it seems like a successful outing for the newest member of the royal family. We can only hope that this is the first of many public sighting when it comes to Meghan and Kate, and that they genuinely become the besties of our dreams
