Kate McKinnon destroyed some NBC property to celebrate the season finale of “SNL”

Kate McKinnon had a killer year playing Hillary Clinton on Saturday Night Live, so she deserved to celebrate after the season wrapped last month. We just didn’t think Kate McKinnon would destroy SNL property as a way to say farewell! But that’s exactly what she did.

She told Jimmy Fallon last night that, in a moment of exuberance, she took a hammer and used it to make holes in a wall at the NBC building. Not just out of nowhere, of course. NBC was doing some construction, so there were tools nearby — and she was really just helping them demolish the walls. Except that she hammered through the wrong walls. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t feel good anyway. “Wow, did I feel young and alive,” she joked. We bet.
