Kate Mara looks like an edgy snow angel in her absolutely adorable winter outfit, and it’s the perfect holiday party look

It’s indeed the season… to freak out about what to wear to every holiday party! Seriously, practical and chic holiday party outfits are hard to come by, and when it come to what to wear to the office Christmas party, we’re totally lost. Holiday style is its own beast to be conquered, but luckily we have celebrities to inspire us in our time of need. And Kate Mara looked like an edgy snow angel in the *best* way with this look. She’s so adorable, but she also looks like someone who has her ~ish~ together. It’s basically everything we could want for our holiday party look, so we’re taking notes.

As soon as we saw Mara’s holiday party look, we knew it would help us figure out what to wear to our own parties. It’s simple and yet *so* elegant.

This is seriously the perfect upgrade of what we probably would have worn growing up. Black stockings and a white dress with a tutu-esque skirt becomes edgy AF when paired with a dark lip and intense eye.

Too, her makeup and hair says, “Yes, I got ready for this, but it didn’t take me ages.” While we all know less-is-more looks tend to take way longer, we like the subtlety of the slicked back hair and pop of lip color doing most of the work. 

We also have nothing but heart eyes for her layered silver necklace. It perfectly frames her face, and highlights the slight boatneck to her neckline.
