Kate Beckinsale’s graduation photo of her daughter Lily proves that they are basically #twinning

Graduation season is upon us. That means we get to watch celebrities’ kids accept their diplomas, and marvel at how much they look like their famous parents. This week, the kid is Kate Beckinsale’s 18-year-old daughter, Lily, who just graduated from the Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles.

Beckinsale posted a couple times on Instagram about her new grad and was the typical proud parent. She also apparently considered bringing air horns to her daughter’s ceremony.

Her caption is so adorable.

PHRESH out of high school @lily_beckinsale . I am so proud of you I have nearly forgiven you for saying other parents don't bring air horns to the ceremony that was a LIE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️go git it my brilliant gorgeous girl

Lily’s father, actor Michael Sheen, also attended the ceremony. Beckinsale and Sheen broke up back in 2003 but appear to have stayed friends over the years. Back when Lily got into college in December, Beckinsale posted a SUPER sweet victory hug between father and daughter.

We CANNOT get over how much Kate’s daughter looks JUST like her!

She’s even acted in films like Everybody’s Fine and Underworld: Evolution as young versions of Beckinsale’s characters. And Lily will apparently attend college to study drama. She’s following in her parents’ footsteps!

Beckinsale told the Evening Standard she’s okay with her daughter getting into the family business.

That would be like sitting there with a glass of wine saying, ‘You can’t have a drink,’ Beckinsale explains. “I can see why she wants to do it. I don’t love the downside of it for my baby. But it’s not like she hasn’t seen both of her parents having a real experience of what it’s like. She has seen us ecstatic and miserable — she’s seen that, squared.

Best of luck in all your future endeavors, Lily!
