Karlie Kloss’ uber healthy take on the traditional pumpkin bread sounds amazing

Is there anything that Karlie Kloss can’t do? Not only is she killing it in all facets of life, but she is coming in clutch with a uber healthy take on the traditional pumpkin bread. I think we all need to write Karlie’s mother a thank you card because the original recipe was her mother’s pumpkin loaf. Thank you Mrs. Kloss, you are officially a lifesaver!

With such a busy schedule, we definitely applaud Karlie Kloss for creating content for her YouTube channel. So it was no surprise that we immediately watched her vegan pumpkin loaf recipe, just in time for Thanksgiving. Growing up Kloss’s mother made pumpkin loafs so along with her friend, Mikaela Reuben, she decided to create a healthy spin on a childhood favorite.

Mikaela Reuben is a Culinary Nutritionist and Health Consultant. She has worked with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Woody Harrelson.  In addition to being a Culinary Nutritionist and Health Consultant, she also is a recipe developer, private chef, retreat designer and menu creator, editorial collaborator, workshop host, health consultant, and a pop-up dinner/ event curator.

According to an interview Kloss did with T Magazine, even though she does drink protein shakes, Kloss prefers to keep her diet very balanced diet.

"Healthy diet! It’s so important to nurture your body, especially when you’re exercising and moving constantly. Your body needs fuel to stay healthy and strong. Nothing can substitute for a balanced diet."

Even though she travels a lot, she tries hard to keep her diet plain and simple.

"If I'm sleeping in my own bed in New York, I love to make just really yummy, clean, boring protein shakes with chocolate protein powder, almond milk, and banana or blackberries. There's a little coffee shop near my house in the West Village, Mojo Coffee, that I love. So even when I'm running out the door on my way to work I always make time to stop at this little coffee shop on the corner because they make a mean almond milk cappuccino, and it's not easy to do."

Brb we’re going to the store to get the ingredients to make this pumpkin loaf. We are crossing our fingers that Karlie comes out with more recipes for the holidays, so we can have a holly klossy Christmas!
