The Kardashian sisters’ tributes to their late father have us in tears

With David Schwimmer playing Robert Kardashian every Tuesday night on the FX mini-series, American Crime Story: The People vs OJ Simpson, the late Kardashian family patriarch has been on our minds. It’s been especially poignant to see him portrayed as a dad back when Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob were kids. Robert passed away from cancer in 2003. And now, on what would have been his 72nd birthday, the Kardashians are posting tributes to their late dad on Instagram that are making us all a little misty-eyed.

Kim posted a photo of her dad smiling and captioned it, “Happy Birthday dad! So much has gone on in our lives since you’ve been gone, and I know you have been my guardian angel seeing it all unfold! I love you and miss you so much!”

In Kourtney’s IG post, she says she wishes she could hug her daddy. (Sniffle!)

The photo Khloe shared is an adorable throwback pic of father and daughter together that really brings the feels, especially as her caption reads, “To the best man I’ve ever known, happy birthday daddy. I miss you! I miss you! I miss you! Man… I wish we had more pictures together.”

The Jenner girls are also honoring Kardashian, with Kylie and Kendall both sharing really sweet photos showing Robert as a loving dad. (We’re really starting to need some tissues.) 

Happy birthday, Robert Kardashian. And hugs to those who remember you and love you, not just today, but always.
