The Kardashians and the Jenners may live lavish lifestyles, but that doesn’t mean they don’t share the wealth. As US Weekly reports, the Kardashian-Jenner clan donated 100 meals to homeless people in LA for the holidays. Effectively proving that Santa isn’t one, jolly old man, but rather anyone with a big enough heart.
Perhaps the best part of the donation was that it was done in true Kardashian Christmas style. The residents of the Skid Row area of LA were treated to a gourmet feast. It’s not so much that gourmet and Kardashian seem to almost be synonymous, but that the family wanted to treat those less fortunate with the same care and consideration they would give their own friends and family. It’s such a kind, generous gesture.
US Weekly also notes that the Kardashian-Jenners donated through the non profit, Red Eye and in no way publicized the gesture. They truly meant to do it under-the-radar. The only reason anyone found out about it is because the organization’s executive director, Justin Mayo, took to Instagram to thank the family for their generosity.
The charity shown by Kris Jenner and her gang is definitely something to take note of. The group often gets a lot of flak in the media, but this holiday donation proves that they are anything but a bunch of Scrooges.
