The Kardashian Family Feud episode is apparently the most Kanye West has ever smiled, and we NEED to watch this
A new season of Celebrity Family Feud is around the corner and the main reason to watch is seeing Kanye West smile. Host Steve Harvey sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to explain how the notoriously opaque rapper became “the best Celebrity Family Feud panelist we’ve ever had.”
Apparently, the Kardashian-Jenners were supposed to face off against the Hilton family on an upcoming episode of Celebrity Family Feud, but at the last moment the Hilton’s canceled, so the Kardashians had to make a game-time decision to save their episode and decided to pit themselves against the Wests.
“Kanye, who was a big fan of Family Feud, said ‘I want to play, I’ve always wanted to play,’” Steve explained. “So he brought his family. Some people you don’t know — these cousins.”
It’s true. When the Kardashians filmed the episode back in February 2018, Kim posted a series of Snapchats where she revealed that “Kanye and I are the biggest fans of Family Feud. Kanye said he’s waited his whole life for this moment.”
So the teams ended up being Kim and Kanye and his cousins versus Kris Jenner, her mom M.J. Houghton, Kendall Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, and professional BFF Jonathan Cheban.

“Kanye was the best Celebrity Family Feud panelist we’ve ever had on the show, Harvey added. “His people said, ‘Steve, this is the most Kanye has ever smiled since we’ve been working with him.’ Kanye smiled! When I introduced him, he smiled. When I talked to him on the panel, he smiled. Just tune in and you’ll see Kanye smiling. He’s happy!
As for Kim’s experience on the show, Steve joked: “Kim didn’t know nothing. Nothing.”
Wow, nothing in this world has ever been so pure as Kanye’s love for Family Feud. When can we see this masterpiece? Steve said the show returns “next month,” and we’ll be waiting for it.
