Kanye West has been hospitalized after canceling the rest of his tour, and we’re super concerned!
Regardless of whether you’re a mega-Kanye fan, casual observer, or none of the above, the news that he’s been hospitalized is pretty unsettling. And because the internet is the internet, #PrayforKanye is trending on Twitter as everyone tries to figure out what exactly is going on.
Here’s what we know: Soon after Kanye cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour and cut his Sacramento show short, he was apparently “acting erratically” while at his personal trainer’s house, and willingly went to UCLA Medical Center for an evaluation.
Hopefully it’s nothing more than a minor case of exhaustion, as we know that he ended a show early because of health reasons earlier this month. The touring schedule of performers at his level is ridiculously hectic, so we’re glad that he’s taking some time away from the stage to focus on his health and safety.
Kanye’s mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, updated us about his current condition while attending the Angel Ball, saying that, “He’s exhausted. He’s just really tired. He’s had a grueling tour and it’s been a grind so he just needs some rest.”
Meanwhile, Kim is by his side, and we’re sending all the best vibes the family’s way. Because no matter how you feel about the entertainer, he’s a person, a husband, and a father to two littles ones, and he’s clearly going through a rough time.
There’s also been an outpouring of love and support from fans:
Hope he gets better and gets the help he needs. He's helped me too much in my life for me to ever turn his back on him #prayforkanye

#PrayforKanye mental health is to be taken seriously.

Exactly. Mental health DOES have to be taken seriously, and even celebrities are not immune to ups and downs in their health.
Healing vibes coming your way, Kanye. We seriosly hope you’re okay!
