Kanye wants to design school uniforms, and something tells us he would be awesome at it
In case you didn’t know it, Kanye West’s commitment to fashion goes way beyond picking out Kim Kardashian’s wardrobe and overseeing elaborate runway shows.
In an interview with TMZ, the rapper mentioned a few topics he didn’t address during his 4-minute VMAs speech, including the latest endeavor on his lengthy fashion to-do list. And true to Yeezy form, it’s totally not what we expected.
“I wanna do school uniforms in Chicago also, for all the city of Chicago, just for a starting point to eventually ending classism and bullying worldwide,” West said.
We wouldn’t be surprised if kids all over Yeezy’s hometown have gathered in the school cafeteria to gleefully praise him and beg the fashion gawds bless them with what are likely to be the hippest school uniforms of all time.
If you had any doubt that school uniforms are actually a good idea, having them designed by Yeezy might change your stance. He definitely tends to go off the rails when explaining his intricate artistic visions but using his creativity and influential fashions to spread an anti-bullying message is definitely a goal we can get behind.
