Justin Theroux just posted a picture of Jennifer Aniston for the first time in months
The Leftovers actor Justin Theroux rarely posts pictures of his lady love, Jennifer Aniston, on Instagram. Instead, his profile is filled with awesome photos of his latest and greatest adventures on sets and his many fabulous co-stars. Amy Sedaris, Will Arnett, Ann Dowd — just to name a few.
So, our eyes (and the Internet) lit up when Justin Theroux shared a rare photo of him with Jennifer Aniston on their second anniversary as a married couple.
It’s the first time Theroux has posted a pic of his wifey since February. Before that, his last post was in February of 2016. Of course, we all know that Theroux and Aniston are masters of the selfie. In the pic, Aniston’s face is partially obscured by Theroux’s side profile. She’s giving him a lovely peck on the cheek. Theroux didn’t write any words to Aniston in the caption. Instead, he opted to fill it with a sprinkling of happy emojis.
Aww, we’re gushing. The couple started dating in 2011 and married in 2015.
They married in Bel Air on August 5th, 2015. Theroux and Aniston have no regrets about their private wedding — the surprise ceremony was in front of only their closest friends and family. To keep the wedding a surprise, they told guests they were hosting a birthday celebration for Justin.
In an interview with United Airlines’ magazine, Rhapsody, Theroux shares what it’s like to be married. He says:
"Marriage makes the small things much smaller and the big things small…It’s good to have someone have your back."
Aniston most certainly has his back. In fact, she’s usually tight-lipped about her husband and their relationship too. However, she did open up to Women’s Wear Daily about Theroux, saying:
"He’s just so beautiful and handsome to me, and I love that his eyeballs are so beautifully captured because those eyes just knock me out every day…He just gets better every year. He’s just like a lost gem in the sand, and he’s just always been there and been brilliant, and now this is just in a different light."
We’re so thrilled for the happy couple. Here’s to many more years of joy and togetherness, you two!
