Justin Theroux has no regrets about his private wedding to Jennifer Aniston, and here’s why

According to tabloids, the pair have gotten married and divorced about fifteen times, and were pregnant around thirty. But, that might be why Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston chose to get married away from the cameras — they’ve unintentionally had a pretty public life already.

Theroux is definitely not quiet about his love for Aniston, which is why they’re one of our favorite celebrity couples.

The two have been officially wed since 2015, and Theroux has no regrets about how things went down.

They kept it quiet by telling their celebrity buddies — like John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Ellen DeGeneres, and Lisa Kudrow — that they were celebrating Theroux’s 44th birthday. But what they walked into was a happily ever after. Pretty genius, if you ask us.

"It's so much more special when it's just your closest friends and family and it's lovely," he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "[Aniston and I] wanted it to be a peaceful environment, you don't want it to be hectic."

We respect this couple even more after hearing that. Knowing that they didn’t want the event to be a media zoo — and just a lovely little ceremony at home with their nearest and dearest — proves that their love is genuine.

Theroux admitted that he was pretty impressed with his friend Dave Franco’s ability to pull off a private wedding as well. The actor married Alison Brie in a low-key ceremony earlier this month. Hopefully the happy couple has the same blissful fortune as Theroux and Aniston!
