Everything we know about Justin Bieber and his “fire bride”’s second big day

Even though they officially got married last September in a courthouse wedding, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin recently rang in one year of marriage with a blowout bash surrounded by famous friends and family, and here’s everything we know about the celebration.

The couple tied the knot during a sunset ceremony at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina on Monday, September 30th, according to People. While we don’t have any photos or videos of the ceremony itself just yet, we do have some details…and it all sounds like a dream.

Surrounded by 154 guests (including the bride’s longtime pal Kendall Jenner) the pair had what sounds like a pretty traditional affair: pre-ceremony cocktails in the lobby lounge before watching the couple say their “I do”s at the hotel’s Somerset chapel. Then, a cocktail hour ahead of a “formal reception with plated dinner at the Wilson Ballroom.”

Oh, how we’d love to be a fly on the wall, or the dance floor (or even just the coat check line!) at this wedding.

Hours after the nuptials, Bieber took to Instagram to share the first glimpse of himself and his wife on their big day from a photo booth, writing, “My bride is ?.”

By the looks of it, Baldwin wore her hair in a low, loose chignon with a halter-style white gown. We’re dying to see more of the bride and groom in their wedding day looks.

Bieber also shared a photo of the wedding present he bought himself, a gold Audemars Piguet watch, which he wore with his tux.

While these are the only photos the couple has blessed us with thus far, we do have some more details about the wedding itself, which was planned by celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss.

E! News reports that Baldwin’s sister Alaia Baldwin and cousin Ireland Baldwin both served as bridesmaids, with famous family members like her dad, Stephen Baldwin, and uncle Alec Baldwin, also there to witness the couple tie the knot. Bieber’s parents, Pattie Mallette and Jeremy Bieber, were also there.

And according to People, the Canadian singer Daniel Caesar was slated to perform for guests during the reception. We’re dying to know what the couple’s first dance song was.

It seems that the lead-up to the wedding was equally luxe, with a source telling E! News that guests arrived via water taxi on Sunday, September 29th, where “there were many string lights hanging and lit candles. The dècor was very chic and white. Everyone cheered for them and they looked really happy to see everyone. Hailey and Justin both could not stop smiling.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, the rehearsal dinner was held at a bowling alley so the couple could “recreate” the first night they met, and the venue was lit up in purple lights (true Beliebers know this is the “Baby” singer’s favorite color).

A source told ET that the bride and groom then enjoyed an outdoor screening of The Notebook, eating “carnival food” like popcorn and corn dogs while relaxing on bean bag chairs and pillows.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We hope their day was as magical and memorable as it sounds.
