Justin Bieber says “Instagram is for the devil” so we guess he won’t be returning anytime soon
TBH, our worlds were sort of rocked (in a minor way, but still) when Justin Bieber deleted his Instagram. Sorry, Bieber lovers, but it doesn’t seem like you’ll be able to scroll through the cutie’s feed any time soon. Why? He’s not interested. According to Paper, when Bieber asked fans if he should re-create his Instagram, he already had an answer in mind. Which was a big, and very certain, no thanks. Because Justin Bieber says “Instagram is for the devil” which is about as big a no as you can get.
At his show at The O2 Arena in England, he got *so* real about the platform and why it just isn’t for him. Justin Bieber says “Instagram is for the devil” and we’re like, what?!
In the video, he explains,
"Nah, I don't want to get my Instagram back."
Why? Because when it comes to Instagram, Justin Bieber thinks it’s the devil. Like, really. He explained,
"Instagram is for the devil. I think hell is Instagram. I'm 90 percent sure."
Is he joking? Well, it sure doesn’t seem like it, because he had more to say. He continued,
"We get sent to hell, we get like locked in the Instagram server."
So there you have it, folks. Justin Bieber says “Instagram is for the devil” and there’s not much that can be done to change his mind. We miss his Insta account, but can also imagine the sort of breath of fresh air that would come with being Insta-free. Will we delete our own? Probably not, but we do admire Bieber for following his heart in this small (but also sorta big) way.
