Justin Bieber vowed to help the victims of the California wildfires

Justin Bieber continues to impress us with his humanitarian efforts. The latest? Justin Bieber pledged to help California wildfire victims. On Friday, December 8th, he posted a video on Instagram saying that he’s going to do whatever he can to help.

“I’m going to have a conversation with some people and we are going to get moving on a solution,” Bieber said. “Obviously, I’m not a fireman, but I can use my resources to figure out ways to get some sort of restoration in certain communities and fundraisers or whatever we can do.”

We’re not the only ones commending the Biebs for taking action. Fellow singer Niall Horan was one of many people who commented on Bieber’s post. “Good man. Give me a shout if you need a hand,” he wrote.

As of this writing, the California wildfires are comprised of six fires and have burned more than 180,000 acres this past week. They’ve also destroyed 792 structures, according to CNN. Thousands of firefighters are at work trying to put out the fires, but strong Santa Ana winds and dry conditions are not helping to cease them. We applaud Bieber for getting involved. The singer’s also pitched in during other natural disasters and times of need. For instance, back in September, Bieber donated $25,000 to Hurricane Harvey victims.

Here’s Bieber’s Instagram video pledging to help the California wildfire victims.

We have no doubt he will make a difference.

Bieber also urged people to help by donating items.

“In the meantime, all the families and all the people who are struggling, just know that everything is going to be ok, he said.

We just hope that everything will be ok sooner rather than later. If you, too, would like to help out people affected by the California wildfires, there are several ways to, according to Newsweek. For instance, you can do so easily by texting a donation to one of the organizations helping out fire victims. Just text REDCROSS to 90999 or text UWVC to 4144 to donate to United Way of Ventura County.
