This week, Beyoncé posed as feminist icon Rosie the Riveter, the cultural pin-up icon who has come to represent women’s equality in the workplace, and posted the picture to her Instagram. And, obviously, people went crazy.

The picture garnered over one million “likes” in just a few hours. That means people LOVE female empowerment. And Beyoncé. And while we’re not surprised, we couldn’t be happier about it. There’s nobody else who can make us feel like “I woke up like this.” In fact just looking at photos of Queen Bey being all empowered makes us instantly swell with lady pride.
