The latest Jurassic World trailer is basically a horror movie, and the killer is a bunch of terrifying dinosaurs
Do you like your Jurassic Park movies with as *many* dinosaurs as possible? If so, the latest Jurassic World trailer is definately for you. The newest look at Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom proves that they’ve gone full-blown horror movie with this sequel, and I am so here for it.
The Jurassic World trailer shows Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) lured back to the now-shuttered theme park under FALSE PRETENSES.
Of course, they don’t know that they’ve been lured into a trap right away. Claire and Owen willingly return to Jurassic World because they think they’re helping rescue Blue, who has been lost on the island since the events of the first movie. Is it a trap? Of course it’s a trap. There *is* no volcano about to explode and decimate the remaining dinosaur population, but things do not get any better from there. In fact, they get a whole lot more terrifying.
This new Jurassic World trailer reveals *even more* more of the story. In the years since the park closed, the government has secretly continued to genetically manipulate dinosaurs. Their teeth are sharper, their species are less understood — oh, and they might have a taste for hunting children. Raptors with enough object permanence to unlock windows and doors behind which tweens are sleeping appear in this trailer. Why would anyone make those? And how did they get loose from the laboratory facilities in the first place? What do they have against that girl?

In addition to Pratt and Howard, B.D. Wong and Jeff Goldblum are both returning for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. We only get *hints* of them in the new Jurassic World trailer. But those hints are enough for fans to recognize that they play pivotal roles in the sequel. Jurassic World roars into theaters on June 22nd. Best to catch up on your sleep while you still can.
