Add Julia Stiles to the list of people who got engaged over the holidays

Did your sister get engaged over the holidays? Brother? Cousin? College roommate? Childhood friend? I’m sure that the answer to at least one of those questions is “yes,” and Instagram is confirming those engagements like nobody’s business. But it’s not just us regular folk that are getting down on one knee and popping the question, TONS of celebrities are newly engaged in the new year too.

Perhaps one of our fave celeb announcements is our teen-movie-queen of yore, Julia Stiles. Now, look at her totally gorgeous ring!

Her caption was also super simple and adorable: “Best Christmas Ever!” Obviously paired with a pink heart emoji. Stiles is engaged to camera assistant Preston J. Cook. According to People, Stiles and Cook met on the 2015 set of Go With Me.

Stiles opened up about their relationship this summer to The Guardian. In answer to the question what was your best kiss ever, Julia replied: “It might have happened this morning. I am dating a camera assistant I met at work called Preston.” Adorable.

Stiles is far from the only celeb to get engaged this holiday season. There’s Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played Rudy on The Cosby Show, and her fiancé and former NFL player, Ed Hartwell.

There’s Eva Longoria and her husband-to-be Jose Antonio Baston (who is the president of content and television at Grupo Televisa).

But our fave celeb engagement of the holiday season is the pending union of Pitch Perfect stars Skylar Astin and Anna Camp. Just look at their Instagram announcement.

There is also the added delight, which is the punny way Astin’s old summer camp congratulated him.

Astin reposted to the Insta photo with the caption, “Okay, this post from my childhood summer camp is kind of amazing! I love a good pun and I sure do love Camp.” Too cute.

Congratulations to all the engaged couples, and we look forward to your nuptial Instagrams.
