Joss Whedon released a celebrity-packed get-out-the-vote PSA, and it’s hilarious (and important) AF
This year’s presidential election is quickly approaching, and we can’t stress the importance of voting enough. And as it turns out, neither can super famous writer/director Joss Whedon.
And to get the word out, Whedon just released a PSA he made called Save The Day, which encourages people to get out there and vote. It features a ton of the director’s mega-famous friends, like Scarlet Johansson, James Franco, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Mark Ruffalo, and Julianne Moore (to name just a few).
Oh, and it’s HILARIOUS AF.

Whedon successfully makes fun of every PSA video you’ve ever seen, while somehow using those exact same lame tactics to pull at your heart strings. It’s a feat only the genius behind something like Buffy could pull off, and we’re so, so glad that he chose to use his incredible talents for such a worthy cause.
Oh, and Save The Day even has it’s own Instagram account, where we got to see a few prime BTS pics:

Now, in the words of Mark Ruffalo:
"Tell the world that you care what happens to it."
And that means THIS:
Now excuse us while we go watch the PSA on repeat for a while — because it legit makes us LOL.
