Josh Gad just posted the “outtakes” from his Daisy Ridley videos, and they’re going to make you laugh

If you follow him on social media, chances are you know that Josh Gad is a huge Star Wars fan. A few weeks ago, he even hosted *the* biggest panel at Star Wars Celebration: The Last Jedi panel, where he spoke with director Rian Johnson, LucasfIlm president Kathleen Kennedy, and stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran and Mark Hamill.
Gad also recently worked with Ridley on the massive Murder on the Orient Express film, and did *not* pass up the opportunity to ask her a million questions about her character Rey — along with what to expect from The Last Jedi. Luckily for all of us, he filmed the encounters and posted them to Instagram.
To celebrate May the 4th, Gad posted some hilarious outtakes of his Star Wars ambushes, as Ridley struggled to feign anger, but instead giggled through the whole thing.
In case you don’t remember, here’s Gad’s first ambush of Ridley, under the guise of rehearsing scenes:
Ridley was seeming very upset about being ambushed. Feeling guilty, Gad felt he should apologize. Unfortunately, his apology was a facade and he really just wanted to ask more questions.
Having Ridley *back* to his trailer to go over Murder director Kenneth Branagh’s daily script notes, Gad, once again, attacked her with questions:
By now Ridley was *over* working with Gad — who, also being a member of the Disney family (with Frozen and Beauty and the Beast) — should know a thing or two about keeping secrets.
This time, he enlisted one Dame Judi Dench to ask questions:
His fourth attempt got a little silly, featuring a whole bunch of people, including costars Leslie Odom Jr., Penelope Cruz, Tom Bateman, Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, and even The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams.
It’s hilarious.
Despite his love of torturing her, it’s clear that Gad and Ridley are really tight IRL. We love how much she struggled to contain her laughter when pretending to be mad at Gad. Seriously though, Daisy, we have a *lot* of Star Wars questions we (and we’re sure Gad) want answered.
