The Jonas Brothers Will Put On an Interactive Virtual Concert
And you can design the poster and limited-edition merchandise.
Mark your calendars, JoBros fans. December 3rd just became the most important date of the year. The Jonas Brothers will host an interactive virtual concert, during which fans will run the show. You can even win the chance to meet the Jonas Brothers in a one-on-one video chat before the concert starts—that is, if you’ve got the artistic chops.
We always say this but we truly have the best fans and we’ve been looking out for opportunities to get them creatively involved, the Jonas Brothers told Billboard on October 12th. So, Nick, Joe, and Kevin teamed up with Lenovo to bring a virtual concert to the masses, and it includes an opportunity to show off your creative skills.
Concertgoers will be able to vote on the setlist in real-time via the comments section as well as pick and choose from a variety of different camera angles from which to watch the show. Ahead of the concert, fans can also submit artwork that may be chosen to be turned into posters, concert visuals, and/or limited-edition merchandise.
“The Lenovo partnership is a way for us to work with them on a new level, as they will have direct input into an upcoming immersive experience—from helping design merchandise to curating our setlist,” the JoBros told Billboard.
Artwork can be submitted through the Lenovo Yoga Creators Contest that runs from now until November 6th. Winners of the contest will be notified on November 12th and will receive a merchandise gift pack, a Best Buy gift card, and the chance to meet Nick, Joe, and Kevin before the show.
Oh, and your artwork will be seen by everyone and anyone who watches the live December 3rd concert. No big deal.
More information about how to watch the concert come December will be released in the coming weeks. For now, all you creative types should start brainstorming graphics and designs that will win the hearts of the Jonas Brothers.
