[SPOILER] was just spotted filming ‘Game of Thrones’

If you’re not caught up on HBO’s Game of Thrones, turn back now (and reevaluate your life)! Major spoilers are ahead.

Whether this is a flashback, or he has truly been resurrected, it looks like we may be seeing Jon Snow’s face again soon. A newly-released photo snapped on the set of the show in Belfast appears to show actor Kit Harington standing around in Stark garb. Is this confirmation that Jon is somehow alive? Some fans believe this photo could just prove a flashback or funeral scene is being filmed, but many speculate that the woman in the photo under the umbrella is Lady Melisandre (Carice van Houten). So, could Melisandre have used her magical juju to resurrect Jon, or did she just show up at Castle Black in time to be a part of his funeral?

From the moment Olly and the Night’s Watch stabbed Jon Snow and left him for dead on the cold, hard, frozen ground (*wipes away tears*), some fans have predicted that the Red Witch would bring him back to life. If you remember from a previous episode in season 5, Melisandre talked about the magic of the true king’s blood. She was referring to Stannis (remember how she convinced him to burn his daughter at the stake in the name of the Lord of Light?), but what if her visions were off, and the blood with the real power was in fact Jon Snow’s? Did she hightail it back to the Wall after having a new revelation? There are plenty of theories swirling about regarding Jon Snow being the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, which could mean he has king’s blood running through his veins.

Check out the new photo taken from the set in Belfast and see for yourself.

This photo isn’t the first clue that Jon Snow may not be dead and gone. Sure, episode director David Nutter, among other show execs and cast members, verbally confirmed his death, but I have trust issues (thanks, Red Wedding) so I refuse to accept this. Need more spoilers pointing toward a Jon return? Earlier this year, Harington showed up at Wimbledon with uncut locks.

His continued presence in filming locations does nothing to help hide his involvement in the new season, either.

In a recent interview with Belgian magazine Humo, Harington got fans excited when he responded to an interview question regarding his contract with the show by saying, “I can’t talk about that. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over.” Umm … what? Would Harington really drop this major spoiler, or is he just trying to mislead me and break my heart?

If all of these rumors, predictions, and speculation prove anything, it’s that fans are obsessed with the idea that Jon Snow could somehow still be alive. I’ll be holding out hope with the other gazillion fans of the show. Now, if we could just get Jon Snow to hop on a dragon with Daenerys and Tyrion and torch Cersei … a girl can dream.

Game of Thrones season 6 is set to premiere on HBO in the Spring of 2016.
